OCEAN IMPACT PROJECT

About: As part of its Championing Oceans initiative in partnership with Emirates, SailGP will collaborate with the Gowanus Canal Conservancy to help with the restoration of the canal through cleanup and restoration efforts. SailGP athletes will plant and perform maintenance work in public rain gardens and expand the shoreline plantings at Sponge Park on the bank of the canal.
SAILGP MEDIA COMBINE & TEAM BASE TOUR

Location: SailGP Tech Site at Brooklyn Cruise Terminal, 210 Clinton Wharf, Brooklyn, NY 11231, United States
About: Journalists are invited to take part in a hands-on SailGP Media Combine, testing the same training equipment used by SailGP athletes. Guided by SailGP athletes, media will participate in a series of short fitness exercises that simulate the strength, speed, and endurance required on F50 catamaran. Media will also receive an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the SailGP Tech Site, where you'll get a rare glimpse into the cutting-edge technology and teamwork that power the world's fastest sail racing. You must wear closed-toe shoes at the Tech Site and RSVP in advance to confirm your attendance to media@sailgp.com.

About: Race weekend will kick off with an exclusive VIP party on Time Out Market’s rooftop, featuring a live DJ, food and drinks, athlete meet-and-greets, branded experiences, and a SailGP+ sweepstakes, all set against a vibrant waterfront backdrop. RACE-DAY MEDIA CENTER

About: Access to the SailGP Race Stadium is with a media accreditation pass. Media will have the opportunity to interview athletes post-race in the Media Mixed Zone after racing has concluded each day. Prize giving will start immediately after the racing has finished on Sunday.
