Preparations are well underway for SailGP’s first ever event in Auckland and fans can now see a sneak peek of the incredible racecourse views from the in-build Grandstands.
The Grandstands will sit inside SailGP’s Race Stadium located in Auckland’s Wynyard Quarter, with up close views of both Mark 1 and the finish line, with a head on view of the start line and both turning marks.
The Grandstands will be big enough to host a total of 8,000 fans and are located in front of SailGP’s Tech Site, where the league’s athletes and F50s will prepare for racing.
The perfectly positioned Waitematā Harbour racecourse is located just minutes from downtown Auckland, and more than 10,000 fans are expected to cheer on SailGP’s F50 fleet which racing begins for the first time in this iconic city.
How to buy tickets
There are still ticket options available for fans wanting to watch the league’s action-packed entertainment in Auckland, from the shoreside option of the Waterfront Grandstand to the on-water Adrenaline Yachts programme. But fans should act fast - Waterfront Premium, Bring Your Own Boat and Shoreline Villas tickets are already sold out.
