With 100 days to go until SailGP returns to Nova Scotia, fans heading to the 2026 Canada Sail Grand Prix in Halifax will be able to enjoy a true taste of the East Coast alongside the high-speed racing.

SailGP has announced a new partnership with Nova Scotia’s Propeller Brewing Company, which joins the event as the Official Craft Beer partner for the upcoming race weekend on June 20–21.

Set against the dramatic backdrop of Halifax Harbour, the seventh stop of the SailGP 2026 Season will once again transform the city’s waterfront into a stadium for world-class racing and premium fan experiences.

As part of the new partnership, Propeller’s award-winning lineup of craft beers, ready-to-drink cocktails and all-natural sodas will be available across the Race Stadium, including on George's Island and in the general admission grandstands. The collaboration ensures fans can sample local flavours while watching the world’s fastest foiling race boats fly across the harbour.

“We are thrilled to welcome Propeller as our Official Craft Beer partner for the Canada Sail Grand Prix," said Ben Johnson, SailGP's Chief Revenue Officer.

"Halifax has quickly become one of the most exciting stops on the SailGP calendar, and partnering with a proudly Nova Scotian brand like Propeller Brewing Company enhances the authenticity of the fan experience. Their commitment to quality, innovation and community aligns perfectly with SailGP’s mission to deliver a premium, world-class sporting event that celebrates its host city.”

Founded in Halifax, Propeller Brewing Company has become a major force in Nova Scotia’s craft beverage scene, producing bold, flavor-driven drinks that reflect the creativity and spirit of Atlantic Canada. Its beers and beverages are served in taprooms and bars across the region and stocked in liquor stores throughout Atlantic Canada.

Reed Pettit, Propeller Brewing Marketing Manager, added: “At Propeller, sharing Nova Scotian hospitality has always been part of who we are. Partnering with SailGP gives us the opportunity to welcome the world to Halifax and celebrate one of the most exciting sporting events on the global stage. We’re proud to help showcase our city, our waterfront, and the spirit of Atlantic Canada while fans enjoy world-class racing. It’s a chance to raise a pint with visitors from around the world and give them a true taste of Nova Scotia.”

The upcoming event marks the second time Halifax has hosted SailGP. When the championship first arrived in the city in 2024, the race delivered a global broadcast audience of 19.5 million viewers and generated an economic impact of USD $45 million for Halifax, boosting local tourism and businesses.

When the fleet returns in June 2026, fans can once again expect a festival atmosphere on the waterfront as the world’s best sailors battle it out just metres from shore.

With the countdown officially on, limited tickets remain for the Canada Sail Grand Prix in Halifax. Fans can secure their place and find out more at SailGP.com/Halifax.
