The curtain is lifting again on Racing on the Edge - and this time the lens goes deeper than ever.
SailGP’s award-winning docuseries is back, and this season the focus shifts from the racecourse to the mind, tracing the invisible currents that shape performance long before the F50s hit the water.
Where previous seasons captured the spectacle, this new chapter goes further - following not just what happens behind the scenes, but the lived experience of champions as they navigate pressure, expectation and the pursuit of greatness at 100 km/h.
This is where SailGP forges nature and technology into one arena, and where the sport’s finest athletes are tested in its purest form. The series becomes a study of decision-making under fire, of doubt in the build-up, and of the mental margins that separate winning from everything else.
This is character-led storytelling in its purest form, where the access is the story. Viewers are pulled inside teams and into conversations rarely heard and into the minds of champions and those hotly pursuing championships.
The series returns with momentum. Since its debut in 2021, Racing on the Edge has amassed more than 10 million viewers across 40-plus episodes. In 2025 over 200,000 hours of ROTE were watched, the equivalent of more than 24.7 years of Racing on the Edge content viewed in a single year.
The 2026 Season builds on that platform with eight new episodes, each one peeling back another layer of elite performance at the sport’s cutting edge.
