JANUARY 16, 2026 - PERTH, AUSTRALIA - SailGP, the most exciting racing on water, has today announced a global partnership with the world’s leading energy drink, Red Bull – joining as Official Energy Drink Supplier for the 2026 Season. Together, the two brands – synonymous with high-performance sport, innovation and redefining what’s possible – will elevate the fan experience across the global racing championship’s most expansive season to date.
The partnership brings together SailGP’s action-packed, high-speed racing – featuring the world’s best athletes flying faster than the wind at speeds in excess of 100 km/h – and Red Bull’s long-standing reputation for pushing the boundaries of athletic performance. The partnership is set to energize fans on and off the water throughout the 2026 Season by enhancing the fan experience with integrated activations in SailGP Race Stadiums, premium hospitality spaces and more.
Red Bull is the current Title Partner of the Red Bull Italy SailGP Team in 2025. The new global league supplier agreement builds on foundations and expands the brand’s presence across the global championship.
SailGP’s Chief Commercial Officer Charlie Dewhurst said: “We’re thrilled to partner with a world-renowned brand as we launch the Rolex SailGP Championship’s 2026 Season. Red Bull’s energy, innovation and deep connection to high-performance sport will elevate both the league and the fan experience around the world, building on its existing commitment to SailGP through our national teams. This partnership further reinforces SailGP’s incredible platform for brands that want to engage with our passionate fans around the world, and to develop innovative and authentic partnerships that genuinely deliver.”
Red Bull Italy SailGP Team's CEO, Founder, and Co-owner Jimmy Spithill said: “Red Bull joining SailGP as a global supplier is a big moment for the league. Red Bull doesn’t just support teams, it elevates sport, and we’ve felt that impact first-hand as our Title Partner. To now see that same energy and innovation embedded across the championship is incredibly exciting and will only make the racing and the overall experience even better.”
The partnership launches with a performance by Red Bull athlete, Matt Hall, one of the world’s leading aerobatic pilots. Ahead of the 2026 Season opener at the Oracle Perth Sail Grand Prix presented by KPMG, fans arriving to the Race Stadium on Saturday, January 17 will experience a live flight show, setting the tone for a season defined by speed, precision and bold racing.
