The second event of SailGP's 2025 Season is finally here as we debut in iconic Auckland this weekend.

Two days of action-packed and boundary-breaking racing will take place on the Waitematā Harbour racecourse, with SailGP’s rival teams going head-to-head for glory at the ITM New Zealand Sail Grand Prix.

Following the opening fleet races on Saturday, January 18, there will be further racing on Sunday, January 19 to determine the top three teams that will compete in the last race - a winner-takes-all Final to crown the event champion.

Unfortunately, the fleet will not be at its full 12-team strength in Auckland, with France - who also missed the opening event of the season in Dubai - sitting this event out due to a wingsail issue.
